Date of Incident: Saturday October 16, 2010

Suspect Info: Sian James

Detective Brian A. Stevenson Jr. an 18 years veteran and married
father of four had gone out to dinner on the eve of his birthday when
he and Sian James got into an altercation in a private parking lot.
James struck Detective Brian A. Stevenson in the left temple with a
fist sized concrete fragment around 10:15 pm. Detective Stevenson
suffered massive head injuries. Brian leaves his wife Ksisha, mother
Sheila, brother, Stephen, children, Brniq, Morgan, Sydni and son Tyrik.

NOTE:
Ofc. Kitrick Stewart, Nominated Det. Brian A. Stevenson Jr. to
receive The Officer Tye Pratt Memorial Award and Det. Brian A. Stevenson Jr
was induction on Feb. 14, 2011
by The Tye Band Selection Committee.
